We use grade 8 bolts instead of Stainless Steel for strength (up to 2 1/2 time stronger that Stainless), our washers are to Harley size and specs to insure proper fitment, we chrome plate the visible bolt to enhance the look of your bike, we package fasteners and extensions separate to prevent scratching, we skin package your kit to prevent parts from moving during shipping and we place each kit in a bubble envelope to make sure that it arrives to your door safely and ready to install. We do ALL of this because we care about the quality of our parts.
Some of the other kits out there are made of plastic or have plastic components, this is a real issue considering that all composites are subject to expansion and contraction as well as sensitive to extreme weather conditions. Other makers are powder-coating over bare steel which means the slightest flaw or break in the finish will allow the part to rust from the inside and you will not be aware of it until the rust starts to compromise the strength of the part itself.
Lastly, most every seller of extensions will offer only standard grade-8 bolts (at best), these bolts come with a Black-Oxide finish that will begin to show rust in a matter of just a few weeks, so you could imagine what will happen to them over time.

I received the floorboard kit yesterday. It took about 30 minutes to install. The kit goes on with no problem with the fairing lowers. I rode my bike to work today...as I do everyday...I can really tell the extensions will make a big difference on the longer trips.
